Indication:
It ¡s indicated in the treatment of infections caused by anaerobic bacteria particularly by Bacteroides fragilis and other species such as fusobacteria, enbacteria, clostridia and anaerobic cocci, treatment of amoebic dysentry, liver abscess and other forms of amoebic disease. Also indicated for eradication of E. histolytica from symptomless cyst passers, acute ulcerative gingivitis, trichomoniasis, non-specific vaginitis.
