Indication:
- Leukaemia.
- Has been found to be effective in some children whose disease
was resistant to folic acid antagonists.
- Few patients with chronic myelogenous leukaemia in both early
and late stages of the disease have obtained both clinical and
haematological remissions with mercaptopurine (Mercaprine).
- Not Indicated for chronic lymphatic leukaemia, Hodgkins
disease and solid tumours.
