- Infections of genital organs including gonorrhoea.
- Infections of bones and joints.
- Gynaecological and obstetric infections.
- Ophthalmological infections.
- Infections of G.l. tract, typhoid, infectious diarrhoea.
- Infections of mouth, teeth and jaws.
- Infections of billiary tract.
- Infections of wounds and soft-tissues.
- Sepsis, peritonitis, meningitis.
- As prophylaxis particularly in patients with reduced host defences.
